Oral-B toothbrushes are known to be among the best oral care products available in the market. There are many different brands of oral-b brushes but nothing compares to the durability and performance of oral-b pro series. The oral-b pro series is widely known because it contains essentials that make brushing safe and easy. The bristles of oral-b brushes are made from natural materials which make it safe to use even for children. Oral-B Pro Series has many different models such as the Oral-B Pro 3200, Oral-B Pro2500, Oral-B Pro2500S, oral-b pro 2000, oral-b pro 2000S, and oral-b to 1500.
Oral-B Pro Series is reasonably priced compared to other oral-b range such as the Oral-B Vitality Plus and the Oral-B Power Brush. It is relatively inexpensive than the Vitality series. In addition to this, it's waterproof so it can easily be used even in the shower. Like the oral-b pro 3000, the oral-b for 2000 also comes with one cleansing mode; the manual clean cleansing mode. However, the brushes have slightly varied sizes depending on the model being purchased.
Like all electric toothbrushes, they need to be plugged in using the AC adapter. If the battery life of the oral-b pro battery lasts longer, then you can save more battery power and use it more often. To extend the battery life, you need to fully charge it after using the brush. To ensure a fully charged battery, you should allow it to completely dry up before charging it again.
The oral-b pro 2 brushing modes consist of five separate settings namely, "single action", "double action", "custom double action" and "custom double". Each setting controls a separate bristles' distance apart. The model I own has an option for customizing the pressure used for cleaning. The oral-b pro 2 brushed bristles are a little stiff when it first gets used to, but I got used to it quite well and I think that it does a great job of cleaning.
The other nice thing about the toothbrush is that it has a visible pressure sensor. Some electric toothbrushes don't have this signal, because some people don't want to wake their sleeping babies. This is a defect of mine. If you want to know if your electric toothbrush is doing a good job, you should check out how the teeth look after you've used it for a while. If the teeth look white (not yellow or brown), it's doing a good job.
Oral-B Pro models can be upgraded to include an electronic timer which counts down so you can set aside time to do a thorough cleaning. I have an oral-b or timer that counts down from 20 minutes. It wakes me up in the morning when I need a good cleaning and I don't forget it. Other models don't have timers, but they do allow you to manually turn off the power if you don't need it during the day.
Like all electric toothbrushes, the oral-b pro 1000 uses Lithium ion technology. I have only used the premium version, so I won't comment on that. My brother has his premium model and he told me that the soft bristles of the oral-b pro 1000 are easier to clean than the standard bristles. The cost of the premium toothbrush is about the same as two premium size brushes. He also recommended the premium model over the lower priced models.

In summary, I definitely recommend this brand of electric brush for anyone who needs a good all around oral-b care product. The price is definitely right.
