In many toothbrush reviews, the oral-b pro 2 2500 series is often given high marks because it's an affordable option for those on a budget. Many oral-b pro 2 2500 reviews do not mention the ease of use of the toothbrush in comparison with other oral-b pro series toothbrushes. That begs the question: Is it as easy as it looks? Let's find out.

Like other Sonicare toothbrush products, the Philips Sonicare Protect gives a nice tingle to start with. The very first time you use it, you find yourself wondering if your mouth really should prickle that much. To be honest, it does take some getting used to. The oral-b pro 2 2500 model - along with the oral-b pro 2 2400 model - come with a built-in oral-b or pressure sensor.

The oral-b pro 2 2500 model comes equipped with an oral-b pro 2 2500 toothbrush head that comes standard on all three types of oral-b or electric toothbrushes. The bristles of this toothbrush head are made from a textured plastic, similar to what you'd find with electric toothbrushes on the market today. It is comfortable to use - no need to strain to get every last bit of debris out - but it doesn't give the suction that some electric toothbrushes can provide.

I have found that I can make my toothbrush last longer by using the sonicare toothbrush heads as opposed to the oral-b pro 2 2500 model. Between the bristles on the sonicare toothbrush head and the soft nylon bristles on the rest of the toothbrush, I have yet to experience any cutting or poking. The soft nylon bristles on the brush head do help cut down on the amount of brushing needed as well. sonicare does make good brush heads though. If your budget will go towards an electric toothbrush, I would recommend the toothbrush head produced by foreo is 2 as they tend to last longer.

The oral-b pro 2 2500 model also comes standard with an oral-b pro 2500 toothbrush holder in the handle. This makes replacing batteries much easier. On the downside, these holders tend to be a little on the heavy side. You won't be able to carry it around with you unless you're barefoot and the weight of the oral-b pro 2 2500 might put a bit more than you'd like on you.

Another nice thing about the oral-b pro 2 2500 series is that you can buy an extended toothbrush head for almost double the price of the original model. This toothbrush head doubles the amount of bristles, which can be used in one brushing session. For the amount you pay, this is definitely worth the cost.

If you are looking for a model that is more reasonably priced, the oral-b pro 2 standard model may be just what you're looking for. For less than $20 more, you can get the extended version with an additional twenty-four hours of battery life. The electric toothbrush head is still rated at a "three" out of five rating. A "three" out of five is good enough for me.

I have to say, out of all the brushes I've tested, the issa 2 models stand out to be the absolute best. The price is very reasonable as it is only made from plastic. The bristles are very well constructed, which means that you don't have to worry about them being broken off or anything like that. The cleaning and maintenance are easy as well. The price is perfect for anyone who needs a good oral-b brushing head but doesn't want to spend a ton of money.
